Returns Policy

GemityBlue accepts eligible change-of-mind returns within 14 days of delivery.

To be eligible for a return, your jewellery must be:

  • Unworn
  • Unused
  • Undamaged
  • In its original GemityBlue packaging
  • Free from scratches, bending, perfume, lotion, makeup, residue, or any signs of wear
  • Returned with proof of purchase

Please do not send items back without contacting us first. Items returned without prior approval may not be accepted.

For change-of-mind returns, the customer is responsible for return postage. Original shipping costs are not refunded unless required by law.


Hygiene restrictions

For hygiene reasons, earrings cannot be returned for change of mind if they have been opened, tried on, or worn.

This includes studs, sleepers, hoops, huggies, hooks, drops, and any jewellery that passes through the ear.

Earrings may only be returned for change of mind if they are completely unused, unworn, unopened where sealed, and in their original packaging.

This does not affect your rights if an item is faulty, damaged, or not as described.


Damaged, faulty, or incorrect items

Please inspect your order when it arrives and contact us as soon as possible if your item is damaged, faulty, or if you received the wrong item.

Please include your order number and clear photos of the issue so we can assess it quickly.

If an item is confirmed to be faulty, damaged in transit, or incorrect, we will arrange an appropriate solution, which may include repair, replacement, refund, or return instructions.

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.


Custom, altered, and special-order jewellery

We cannot accept change-of-mind returns for:

  • Custom-made pieces
  • Personalised jewellery
  • Resized rings
  • Engraved items
  • Altered pieces
  • Special-order designs
  • Final sale or clearance items, unless faulty

These items are made or adjusted specifically for you, so please choose carefully before placing your order.


Natural gemstone variations

Many GemityBlue pieces feature natural gemstones. Small variations in colour, tone, pattern, inclusions, or texture are part of the character of natural stones and are not considered faults.

Damage caused by misuse, impact, bending, rough handling, chemical exposure, improper storage, or normal wear and tear is not considered a manufacturing fault.


Exchanges

We do not guarantee exchanges, as many GemityBlue pieces are one-off or small-batch designs.

The fastest way to secure another item is to return the original item if eligible, and then place a separate order for the new piece.


European Union 14-day cooling-off period

If your order is being shipped to the European Union, you may have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days of delivery.

Returned items must be unworn, unused, undamaged, and in their original packaging.

Custom-made, personalised, resized, engraved, altered, or special-order pieces may be excluded where permitted by law.

For hygiene reasons, earrings and other hygiene-sensitive jewellery may not be eligible for return if opened, tried on, worn, or removed from sealed packaging.


Refunds

We will notify you once we have received and inspected your return, and let you know whether the refund has been approved.

If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank or card provider may take additional time to process and post the refund.
